Chad and I are engaged!

Isn't that just the happiest news you've heard all day?

We went to Provo last night to one of "our" places: the BYU bell tower (proof that Chad really does love BYU after all). We used to go on walks there back when I lived in Heritage Halls freshman year. We always used to say that two years from then, Chad would come back from his mission and propose to me there. And that little romantic went and did it!

We were just sitting on a bench looking out over beautiful Provo and joking about what it would be like when he proposed. Of course I wasn't expecting that it would happen then. I was clueless! After talking for a while, all of the sudden he kneeled down in front of me and was telling me how much he loved me and that he wanted to be with me forever. Then out of no where he had a ring! I just kept saying "Wait...are you just practicing? Are you for real? Are you kidding?!". Once I got over that part, of course I said yes!

Then all of the sudden we were engaged!


I honestly feel so lucky that everything has worked out the way it has. This has been so long in coming and I really feel like I'm ready for it and ready to finally be with Chad! I feel like we've been through a lot together and I can't think of absolutely anyone else I'd rather spend forever with. I think he's perfect for me. Who would have ever thought that we would end up together? I really feel like everything has fallen into place with a little divine intervention. I'm so thankful for where Chad and I are today and for the future we're going to have together. I think we're a perfect pair.

So there's the proposal story. It was simple, spontaneous, and so Chad. I love my fiance.

Fall is officially here! Chad and I got into the spirit by carving some pumpkins. Look how cool they are...


Okay, I'll admit that Chad's pumpkin might be a little more rockstar than mine. But I say Halloween just isn't Halloween without that classic, timeless pumpkin face. So I like them both.

Anyone else getting into the fall spirit?

I love seeing the changing leaves and being in the windy, rainy weather. I love the thought of pulling out my scarves and cooler-weather clothes (but I will definitely miss the flip flops). Isn't fall great? I love how Utah actually has four seasons!

I got a TV.

It was kind of a splurge...but so worth it. There's just something so nice about watching TV in bed! It must run in my family or something.

And before you go and freak out and stuff, just know that I got a good deal on it. And that Chad approves so you can halfway blame my purchase on him.

Its pretty sweet.ANYWAY...I love my new TV!

Isn't Trenton the cutest! I flew out to California last weekend for a quick visit to see Erica and Ryan and had an awesome time. I wish I could see them more often!


Trenton is kind of wild. But so cute! My favorite was seeing his nighttime routine of nuzzling his blanket before bed.

This blog makes me feel guilty. It kind of hurts to look at it. I'm wayyyy behind on catching up on other people's blogs. And yeah. Love you guys! I'll try to step up the commenting!

Kendall's getting married! I'm flying to Portland later this week and I am so. excited. A vacation will be so nice...not to mention my sister will be there and I will get to share in my bestfriendcousin's happiness. YES love and marriage!

School will finally be over come this weekend and I'll have a fantastic two week break before the Fall. I'll also finally be done with the commute to Provo. Forever. Yay! I really hope they let me graduate.
